Comparison of Efficacy of the Deep Back Massage Method With and Without Al-Fatihah For Pain Management in Primigravida During Active First Stage of Labor

Deep back massage method with Al-Fatihah recitation is more effective in reducing pain intensity in pregnant women during active first stage of labor. The Research Design Quasi-experimental design was used in this study to determine whether there was a difference in the effectiveness of deep back massage methods without Al-Fatihah and with Al-Fatihah in reducing pain intensity in primigravidas during active first stage of labor. Univariate analysis was used to observe the frequency distribution of the mean pain scale studied, both before and after, the intervention and bivariate analysis were used to show the difference in the effectiveness of the deep back massage method with Al-Fatihah and without Al-Fatihah on the intensity of labor pain among primigravidas during the first active phase.[12] The results of the mapping of the level of education of pregnant women show that 60% are women with …
